In addition to event planning and management, Heather's diverse career of over 15 years includes work in marketing, corporate communications, and organizational strategy. Her experience includes local, domestic, and international destinations; small, medium, and large attendee sizes; and numerous types of meetings and events from tradeshows to board meetings and from conferences to incentive trips. In the winter of 2018, she joined the faculty of Emory University’s Continuing Education Event Planning program, where she enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of event management professionals.
